Reflection

After learning and studying the vocabulary, it helped me understand the book, Funny in Farsi better. When I found out what the words mean it made the book easier and more enjoyable. When I'm reading a book and I don't understand some of the words in it, I would usually just skip and keep on reading. But now I know that I shouldn't do that; I should stop, look up the word and see what it mean. Doing so will help the book more understanding and good. Even though I know the meaning of those words; I don’t really notice them around me. The only time when I saw the words was in the book after that I haven’t seen or heard of the word again around me. Once in a while, I would hear it during class but that's pretty much it. Now when I see unfamiliar words I try to look for context clues so I could see what the word means from the text but if I don’t find any context clues I would look up the word in the dictionary. After finding out what the word mean it help me understand the sentence or even the chapter better. Most of the words that I knew for the test are forgotten. I still remember a few of the words though, only the one that I did for the blog when I used the submission structure. If I see the words again then I might still remember the meaning but if I think about the word then I can’t really remember the meaning.
